International & National Mediation
Is mediation the right choice for me?
Mediation is a method of alternative dispute resolution that allows disagreeing
parties to avoid a trial and instead attempt to arrive at an independent
resolution while prioritizing courtesy, mutual respect, and cooperation.
Mediation provides a venue for the parties to come together to present
the facts and issues in order to reach an agreement in a guided and controlled
setting. This process allows the parties to avoid the expense and hassle
of the time-consuming litigation process. You can rely on my ability as
an experienced and knowledgeable
New York attorney and mediator to guide the discussion and help you arrive at a beneficial
resolution.
Benefits of Mediation
Some of the many advantages offered by the mediation process include:
- Higher likelihood of compliance from both sides
- Less expensive than litigation
- Faster than litigation
- Facilitates mutual satisfaction for both sides
- Allows the parties to maintain ultimate control rather than submitting
the final decision to a judge
- Encourages and fosters cooperation rather than hostility
What is the mediator's role?
The mediator is not a judge or arbitrator. My role as mediator is to provide
a venue where necessary discussion can occur in order to ensure that all
important and pertinent information is made available and understood.
I support the parties in reaching an agreement and strive to guide them
toward a mutually agreeable solution. I am also prepared to write up the
agreement or contract that each party must sign. I am very optimistic
and confident regarding the mediation process and the possibility of achieving
a solution through hard work and cooperation.

International Mediation
In international mediation cases, I help the parties involved overcome
cultural difficulties and misunderstandings. As a
New York lawyer with years of experience, I understand the legal issues involved in these
types of disputes.
Having lived in various cultures around the world, I am able to successfully
and sensitively guide discussions between parties with different cultural
backgrounds. My goal is to facilitate the structuring of a resolution
so that it will be understood within the framework of the cultures of
the parties.
